2023 COACH MOVER BUSINESS RETREAT
An annual event organised by the Malaysian Association of Certified Coaches (MACC) with the sole purpose of encouraging and supporting its members with the growth of their coaching business. Each year CMBR aims to bring thought leadership, guidance, and practicum at an exclusive one-day event with a line-up of theme-relevant guests and speakers.
The coaching industry is experiencing rapid growth and technology is playing an increasingly important role in making coaching more accessible and efficient. Hays Asia reports that 62% of employers in Malaysia are investing in technology to support their coaching and mentoring programmes particularly for their remote and distributed teams. Grand View Research states that the market size for coaching in Asia Pacific will reach US$ 2.7billion by 2028 with growth drivers being leadership and professional development.
This year’s theme, “Coaching 2.0: Levelling the Playing Field” focusses on how technology has and continues to make coaching accessible and affordable, thereby serving more people than ever before.
Aside from video conferencing platforms that allowed coaches to pivot their business during a crucial time in the world and today is the norm, technology has enabled the creation of online coaching platforms that offer a range of tools and resources such as scheduling, payment and client management. All aimed at assisting coaches in delivering their services more effectively.
Today, we can’t mention technology without acknowledging how far AI has come. AI if used correctly is able to help coaches analyse data and provide insights into their clients habits and behaviours, identify areas of support and provide better recommendations to help clients achieve their goals.
CMBR 23 is therefore geared at collaborating with partners who can demonstrate how MACC is able to support its members’ business growth via their platforms and services.
